Special seminar of RCTHS with Paolo Bussotti & Raffaele Pisano
It is our pleasure to inform you that a special guest has agreed to give a lecture at one of our Monday's regular seminars. Paolo Bussotti, a member of Edizione nazionale opere Federigo Enriques, will focus on the following topic: "The Method of the Infinite Descent and its Applications in Number Theory".
His speech will be followed by Raffaele Pisano, head of RCTHS, and his lecture "On Electromagnetic Theory. Faraday and Maxwell between Physics and Physics Mathematics".
The seminar will be held on 26th November 2012 in the Department of Philosophy of the University of West Bohemia, Pilsen. More details can be found in attachment.

Special seminar of RCTHS with Michał Kokowski
It is our pleasure to inform you that a special guest has agreed to give a lecture at one of our Monday's regular seminars. Michał Kokowski, a member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, will focus on the following topic: "The three cultures of Sarton – Snow, Thomas S. Kuhn and the Copernican (r)evolution". The afternoon session starts at 15:00.
Two of RCTHS' members, Eliška Luhanová and Miroslav Hanke, will speak in the morning session from 11:00.
The seminar will be held on 19th November 2012 in the Department of Philosophy of the University of West Bohemia, Pilsen. More details can be found in attachment.

Marie Větrovcová, Libor Benda: Selected topics in History and Philosophy of Science
